Independent Agronomy

Covering the South of England, Crop Advisors Independent Alliance offers independent agronomy and group purchasing for over 600 farmer members, farming in excess of 120,000 hectares.

What is a true Independent Agronomist?

An arable consultant whose advice is solely determined by the actual requirements of the farm rather than agrochemical & fertiliser inputs and timings. Our associate agronomists are also aware of the importance of soil health and management.

Besides covering the aspects of traditional agronomy, such as rotation, variety selection, cultivation method, agrochemical & fertiliser inputs and timings, our associate agronomists are also aware of the importance of soil health and management. We have many farms within the group passionate about the integrated approach of regenerative agriculture incorporating cover crops, manures and composts to enhance the condition of the soil and ultimately maximising the yield and profitability for the long term.
